While peacefully protesting in Los Angeles, CA, my nephew was hit in the face by an aggressive cop, with a rubber bullet. Correspondingly, emergency surgery was needed on his right eye. He had facial fractures that required several surgeries.While he recovers, he urgently needs financial assistance with medical bills, rent, and other expenses pertinent to his well being. Anything helps and is wholeheartedly appreciated. Doctors told him he will be left with scarring on his face and permanent blindness in one eye, but he hopes to be able to see light and shadows through the damage in future.
